Under the direct supervision of a Party Chief and the Survey Division Manager, the Survey laborer performs various field surveying laboring duties including but not limited to; pounding stakes, setting back sights, setting up tripods, writing survey stakes, checking grade, shoveling, and various other duties to support Machine Control Paving, and survey crews at various jobs, as required on heavy highway and commercial projects.   The Ideal candidate would have construction survey experience including, staking, setting  up instruments and back sights, hammering, shoveling.

The Office Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Liaison between site and corporate office in regards to payroll processing, accounts receivable, as well as maintaining subcontracts and purchase orders.

Summary:  Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and Subcontractors to ensure all paperwork, correspondence, submittals, etc are answered and/or directed to the correct establishment to guarantee the project’s acceptance from beginning to completion.  Coordinate, administer and supervise routine subcontracts for all jobs.

Wadsworth Construction Company is currently seeking an accomplished professional to join our Team as a Design Engineer in Training to work within our Estimating and Alternative Delivery Departments.  We are seeking someone with a background in Highway Design and Roadway modeling for large Heavy Civil highway projects.

We are looking for a Recent graduate Project Engineer to join our team. Engineering degree required

Under the direct supervision of the Survey Division Manager and Sr Survey Party Chief, the Jr Survey Party Chief performs technically complex paraprofessional field surveying duties to support Machine Control Paving, including profilographing, and construction staking and performs other duties as required on heavy highway and commercial projects.   The Ideal candidate would have construction survey experience including, staking, setting project control points, running levels, experience with Trimble and Leica survey equipment, understanding of plans, machine control models, surfaces, experience with Trimble business center. Experience with staking building grid lines, footings, wall lines.

Performs routine maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment and vehicles including Cranes, Excavators, Loaders, etc. as well as pickup trucks.  Knowledge of diesel fuel systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and general mechanical experience is required.  Works primarily in the shop but also performs field repairs when necessary. Reports condition of vehicles and equipment and records repairs and maintenance in daily logs.

A Carpenter builds rough wooden structures such as concrete forms, scaffolds, tunnel and sewer supports, and temporary frame shelters according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions.  A Ralph L Wadsworth Concrete Carpenter will be assigned to multiple types of projects such as building parking structures, footing and foundations for large commercial buildings, box culverts, concrete facilities like waste water plants (Tanks, pump stations, concrete buildings), and help construct heavy highway bridges, sound barrier walls, medium divider walls, MSE Wall, etc.

Drives sidedump and experience with Lowboy. Equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, coal, or bituminous paving materials, or drives a truck equipped with a water tank to wet dirt and gravel in construction areas.
